Many eMule mods, including my favourite XTreme mod, display the flag of the user's host country.

Why has this improvement not been included in the basic eMule code? It helps to create a sense of community and belonging among the users.

For a Secure VPN option (instead of an insecure proxy), try ItsHidden ($10/mo). And check out PeerBlock for extra (free) protection against the bad guys.

I will donate EUR100 to the first version/mod of eMule that can successfully stop a poisoning attack, and allow me to block/distrust/ignore users from sending me stuff, and allow me to block/prevent them from receiving stuff, and not permit users to take or send partial chunks of data.

Until this happens, or until the corruption handling works correctly, please add the following to your IP Filter (ipfilter.dat):
84.128.0.0 - 84.135.255.255 , 0 , Poison, Deutsche Telekom AG
85.176.0.0 - 85.182.127.255 , 0 , Poison, HanseNet Telekommunikation GmbH
92.228.0.0 - 92.231.255.255 , 0 , Poison, HanseNet Telekommunikation GmbH
92.192.0.0 - 92.223.255.255 , 0 , Poison, QSC AG
78.48.0.0 - 78.50.159.255 , 0 , Poison, HanseNet Telekommunikation GmbH

With apologies to the legitimate users of these ISPs who are being unfairly tarred with the same brush as the bad guys.

Often requested, often denied... (sadly)

You want a light mod with source-dropping, Powershare and WiZaRd's ClientAnalyzer ?
Try Spike2-Mod !

You rather want to stick to official eMule but don't want to miss all the new fixes and optimizations from the mods ?
Try OfFixed-Mod !

What's that poll?
The NO option is missing.
Results can't be valid... <_<
my latest favorite jamendo album (Creative Commons license): CraZyH et Djézinho - Prémis N'1
Could be considered as the male counterpart to zap mama. It's really worth a try, even if you hate hip-hop...

Well, looks like the No option simply has been removed.

P.S. Didn't Saddam Hussein get a bit more than 99% of the votes in his last election? :-k

Edit: 'No' is missing in http://forum.emule-p...howtopic=147286 as well.

Impressive. His last three feature requests are actually even more uninformed and pointless than the previous ones. Perhaps, if you would simply ignore him, he might go away and try to "improve" some other p2p application?

I simply won't take no for an answer ;-)

I can't imagine why anyone would think this is silly. Flags are so cool, and they remind us we are all connected together in the big bad world.

If the world is really bad, maybe you should avoid being connected? :D

Maybe you should speak only when spoken to? :D

"Big bad world" is an idiom, and a reminder than not everyone is nice and can be trusted. You just proved my point, dearie.

Was I "spoken to" now? Hopefully, yes, and now I can speak too!

Free speech and democracy are two different things. Even though they do seem to go together nowadays. :P

One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
