I'm Chinese
If I search Google "eMule"
There's lot of things about "VeryCD eMule"
(Website:http://www.verycd.com/)
but It's said that "VeryCD eMule" is not the offical eMule
Are they right?
What's the difference?
Thanks

No VeryCD is not the official eMule, it is a modified version of the official one. The official eMule is the one you get here at emule-project.net

VeryCD company is a commercial company. They say their VeryCD Mod and EasyMule are the official version of eMule. They call directly their EasyMule "电驴(Dian Lv)" which means eDonkey ( 电 = electric; 驴 = donkey ) or eMule (Some Chinese also call eMule "电驴"). VeryCD company also has a website emule.org.cn which pretends to be an official eMule site. Lots of Chinese are confused and fooled by them. :ranting:

hi, the offical emule is only one, see http://www.emule-project.net :)

hmm, as far as I know, verycd is a commercial company in Shanghai, made a phishing site: "www.emule.org.cn" hosts its own community-leech mod called "easymule"(aslo a spy cilent help police supervision) , and alleged it's "emule home" and "edonkey official site" on their site. Their skilled phishing fooled most of chinese (also chinese websearch engine),that's why you see most of chinese use "[verycd]" in your emule.

useful information for chinese users.
as i know, many chinese users only know the verycd as the only emule software.

but it is a pity that on the front of the homepage of the http://www.emule-project.net there is google ads from easymule.com. the easymule.com is owned by verycd company, and this ad told the viewers to "download the newset emule (电驴)"。

as below:

Although emule-project.net and Google don't mean it, it is really crazy that the "最新版本电驴下载(Download the newest version of eMule)" advertisement from VeryCD's easyMule appears on eMule's official homepage.
