Hi folks,

It is done. I am proud to present you the new MorphXT after all the trouble I put you through lately. First of all, there are some people I would like to thank and I will do this in chronologic order. Although I was a lone dev for this release for the most part the majority of the code you find here was written by the old devs which I want thank hereby. I would also express my gratitude to SiRoB who got the page running again. Another big load of thanks fly out to my testers. Those are mainly (in random order) Nisse, omeringen/erdem444, Dick_Manitoba, guijarrelson and Andu. I had a great time with you testing and chatting, thanks for that! I would also like to thank the translators who did not bother when i bossed them around. Check the changelog for their names.

Now, another happy thing about this release and the prank prior to this is that schnulli900 and JackieKu volunteered to my request and will henceforth join us in this venture of morphing any mule on the planet. A toast to a bright Morph future.

I would also like to remind anybody that we will ONLY support this built. If any of you got the alpha some idiot robbed from our CVS to release it unpermissioned so he can feel great about you should switch immediatly. To the idiot(s) that did this, we put in hours of work in this release and you think it is cool to get credits by releasing our work under your name. I tell you that you are worthless because you distribute potentially harmful and buggy software. Anybody remind yourself of the MostWanted mod who did this prior to the 10.0 release when some other genius released a client which would inevitably banned by older Morph versions. This is exactly why the Morphteam did not permit any CVS releases to be leaked to the wide public using an exact build or using a mod based on CVS code.

Lastly, you will notice this changelog is HUGE and I am proud that it is. I feel Morph is getting back to old glory and I hope you will think the same. Note that I added a new package called "debugkit". It contains the emule.pdb file and the emule.exe file so anybody can analyze the source of bugs on his own. This does not mean we do not want your crashdumps. We do want them but in case we miss something another probably more skilled coder can check if he can find out about the source of the trouble. Many thanks again to the people menitioned above. Have fun with this release.

whenever i found the bug that kept randomly fomatting drives. i lost two original music cd's i bought from the little money i had due to this bug during the development of this version. OMG!!!

get the src&libs package and follow the instructions for VS05 SP1 if you use that. VS08 is not supported!

the whole feature underwent some work. the official added something similar to what we had so i had to choose between staying completly mod or staying partly mod, partly official and the latter appeard better for me because new users will know how the official behaves and not wonder why it is working differently all of a sudden.

the change in expire time was thus just a mean to get closer to the official, which is using 31 days until a file is partially purged. however, as you pointed out yourself, you can easily increase that time to get the old morph expire time and you can further check the completly purge radio button to get same purging behaviour like old morphs did... or you may disable it completly, which is new to morph.

exactly what they say they'd do. purging known.met file entries partially (just as the official client does since 0.49c) or completly (just like old morphs did). you could have figured that out yourself... i even wrote tooltips for that...
