Chers utilisateurs d'eMule,

eMule arrive à sa 7ème année et nous sommes heureux de vous présenter cette nouvelle version. Comme son nom l'indique, il s'agit d'une mise à niveau qui s'intéresse surtout à corriger tous les problèmes et les bugs signalés, ainsi que des améliorations pour préserver Kad à jour.


Parmi les nombreux changements apportés, on peut retenir:

• La possibilité de partager et départager des fichiers unique en lieu place de répertoires entiers. Le glissé-déposer est supporté pour plus d'aisance
  
• La prise en charge des fonctionnalités de sécurité de Windows Vista (et de XP dans une moindre mesure) pour rendre plus difficile les attaques contre eMule
  
• La réparation automatiques des fichiers .part corrompus en utilisant les fichiers de sauvegarde
  
• Des améliorations pour Kad : une refonte des mots clés de recherche (pour réduire la charge sur les nœuds), la prévention de paquets UDP fragmentés (pour rendre eMule encore plus compatibles avec certains pare-feux zélés) ainsi que d'autres changements
  
• L'amélioration de l'UPnP et l'ajout du support de l'interface web
  
• Et comme toujours pleins de petits ajouts et de corrections de bugs

(the first purge will be done one month after upgrading, if you have "Remember downloaded files" disabled all unshared files are completely deleted right away so this change would have no further effect)

: On simple search queries Kad now rearrenges the used keywords itself and uses the longest keyword to determine which node to ask. This reduces the search load on common used keyword nodes like "and", makes such keyword a less viable target to attackers and allows users to do a search which begina with a short keyword like "An eMule"
.: You can deactivate this by putting "RearrangeKadSearchKeywords=0" into the "eMule" section of the preferences.in (there isn't much reason to do so for normal users however)

(first one is required for the network the second one is for consistency as the incoming dir is not handled as optional shared dir, therefore not marked in the tree as shared which again would make it pretty hard to find it to reshare any excluded files)
.: Kad file/source search answers now try to avoid using fragmented packets, making it more compatible to zealous firewalls routers which block those (effect increases as more nodes update to this version)

Réflexion de noob:
_mon pare-feu bloque un nombre conséquent de ces fameux paquets UDP fragmentés, mais j'ai la possibilité de supprimer cette option, alors question: dois-je le faire ? Est-ce que ça peut aider à fluidifier ma Mule en émission sans nuire à ma sécurité sur le réseau ?

Concernant emule:
- oui il faut autoriser les paquets UDP fragmentés. Essaye de faire des recherches kad avec et sans, tu verras la différence, même avec la 47c, puisque les résultats sont envoyés par d'autres clients qui restent majoritairement d'anciennes versions. Et la 47c continue d'envoyer des paquets fragmentés par exemple lors de la publication (sur kad toujours) de mots clés utilisés dans de nombreux fichiers.
- ça n'a rien à voir avec la sécurité (sur emule)


maintenant pourquoi est-ce que certains parefeus et routeurs bloquent par défaut les paquets fragmentés?
honnêtement, j'en sais rien... Je suppose qu'il doit y avoir quelques virus ou autres dont le fonctionnement se traduit par l'envoi des nombreux paquets fragmentés.
D'un autre côté, les paquets fragmentés font partie du protocole UDP (et TCP aussi d'ailleurs) et emule n'est surement pas le seul à en avoir besoin...

Oui tu télécharges la version Bin , tu fermes eMule et tu remplaces emule.exe par la nouvelle version, tu lances la nouvelle et quand l'assistant apparait tu cliques sur annuler et tu autorises aussi dans le pare-feu.

Même si ça suffit généralement, d'autres fichiers pouvant avoir été modifiés, je recommenderais plutôt, de manière générale, de tout remplacer à l'exception des fichiers du dossier config que l'on veut conserver.

Dans cette dernière version, il y a au moins le fichier Template.eMuleSkin.ini qui a été modifié, en plus d'emule.exe (et le readme et le changelog)...

Ca évite également d'avoir a retélécharger bêtement la DLL française lors du lancement d'emule. La bande passante du serveur n'est pas gratuite...

Merci. Alors si je comprend, une installation de 49c n'effacera pas ce qui est en téléchargement et mes futurs incoming. Pouquoi est-il question de la Bin, et de 2 autres versions de la 49c ?
