Thanks, the listed topics have been verified and partially screenshots added if needed.

@Eulero
You created a new category but kept the english name and description for it ("the gui", "eMule's GUI explained"), please post a translation here so i can correct it later on. Also the links you used were just fine and the way they are supposed to be. They just looked wrong in the preview because the edit interface is located at another path, no need to worry about it.

In options connection:

Open these ports on the internal WinXP firewall
If the internal Windows XP firewall is activated this button will automatically open the entered ports to allow unblocked communication in eMule. Only the UDP and TCP port are opened and it is recommended to use this function together with the Preferences -> Extended Settings -> Open/close ports on Win XP firewall when starting/exiting eMule. This offers best protection. This feature only works for Windows XP (without Servicepacks) and XP Service Pack 1. This setting is obsolete for Windows XP SP2 or later and will not be shown in this case.

(button does not exist more)

In options extended :

Open/close ports on Win XP firewall when starting/exiting eMule
eMule is able to automatically open its needed ports in the internal Windows XP firewall. This setting will further increase security by not keeping the ports open after eMule is closed and to open them up again when it is started. This setting is only available in Windows XP and only for the internal firewall, not any third party products. This option does not work correctly in the current Win XP Sp2 RC releases.

i think is better to put only one in options extended, like this:

Open/close ports on Win XP firewall when starting/exiting eMule
eMule is able to automatically open its needed ports in the internal Windows XP firewall. This setting will further increase security by not keeping the ports open after eMule is closed and to open them up again when it is started. This setting is obsolete for Windows XP SP2 or later and will not be shown in this case.

-----------------------------------------------------

I don't really understand this:

Releasers can now make sure that no other file will take precedence over their release files by turning off this option.
A mixed network will better resist possible exploits of one system.

i'm in difficulty to translate it ! :confused:

-----------------------------------------------------

Show the Online Signature setting
See Preferences -> General

i see: You can only see this option if Show more Controls in Preferences -> Extended is active.

instead i see it always :confused:

cheers :flowers:

It still exists, but like the last sentence in the description states it is not shown in any windows version later than XP SP1

The whole reason section has been removed as it was confusing without further explanation and partially more of an oppinion.

Those are pretty obsolet and are probably going to be removed soon, so no need to add an explanation.

@dylandog84

You forgot to translate the full name of the topic, please post a translation for "The Messagewindow" :)

Most pending translations have been verified, thanks :)

@dylandog84

The update of the "Guida per i principianti" topic didn't match the english original and wasn't verified yet for this reason, please try to keep translations as close as possible to the english topic.
