List Of Servers

When I began with Emule eight months ago, there were 30 servers or so.
Yesterday I updated that list from http://www.gruk.org/server.met.gz and now I only have 4 servers.
Is this normal? What did this mean : perhaps the end of Emule?
Thanks and cheers.

Thank you Moloko+ .
I ran with the address you sent me and I added three more servers.
I have now 7 servers in my list. But why the number of servers is decreasing? Is it because any virus or anything strange?
You spoke version 49a but I saw many complaints about it in this forum...
Cheers.

'moloko+ actually did mention v0.49b.
Now, my dear, Jomapil. If you have read many complaints about version 49a, how come you missed all the threads about missing servers lately?
Cheers, regards and whatever.

what about the list of servers that are already listed when I connect? I notice some of them have sharing kingdom 1 2 and 3, Stormsex.net dual. I dont want any porn listed when i search. so do I remove them? How do I get decent ones on! you say choose among ashort list of trusted servers. where are they? sorry to be so ignorant on this, I have used e mule for a while, not knowing there was all this complication with it!
thanks for any help.

are the ones in my list currently. There are a few others, which I choose not to use.
the servers with "porn" names are not servers indexing only porn files. If a user is sharing porn, their files will be indexed regardless of the good non-filtering server he/she is connected to. A server called "no porn here" may have far more porn files indexed than a server called "get your porn here". As always, you cannot guarantee that the files you download are what you are expecting (i.e. are not porn, if you are not searching for porn) and you should see the topic about avoiding fakes, in quick help & guides if you often find yourself downloading something unwanted.
ElChele has linked ^^ to a serverlist guide, (how to setup your serverlist and ipfilter, by trebla) and also has his own guide regarding fake servers and includes a quick-setup serverlist guide by torpon, in the quick help & guides subforum.
I dont have the sharing kingdom servers in my list, and I've not had files that i've not been able to find sources for, or obtain search results for (I am connected to Kad too), so I would suggest it's unlikely to harm your emule experience if you remove those from your list. (although the more "good" servers you have, the better, so regularly check the forum for topics and guides which refer to good and bad servers) Kad will increase your chances of finding sources that aren't connected to servers in your list.
torpon's comment simply simply implied that its better to use a list with perhaps 5-10 good servers than it is to use a list with 50-100 bad (useless/malicious) ones. hth and feel free to post back if something is unclear or you want more help.
