Low Id- Why?

Hi all

I use emule 0.49a. i was wondering if maybe i can get some tips for fasting my emule. i have an ADSL connection 2.5 M. The other thing that really bugs me

is that i have low ID and the emule icon is covered - how can i prevent that and regain the emule his sight back...??
