No, there will not be a new version of my mods. No, I do not want your PM. No, I am certain, use the board and quit sending PMs. No, I am not kidding, there will not be a new version of my mods just because of YOU asking for it!

Hi Stulle!
I upgrade to xtreme 7.1 today but i have a big problem!
The new dlp ban the italian adunanza mod.
Adunanza is develop for the clients of a fiber ISP that use internal ips making impossibile to have high id in emule standard.
they upload min 10 kb/sec at the external clients and they have a specific modstring.
Our comunity is very big and the bigger italian relaser are adunanza so the dlp's ban is a big problem for italian xtremers!
It is possible to deepen this argoument?

It is very important for me and many other italian people....and we dont want to to abandon xtreme mod! :(

ps:i'am not a expert but it's possible to reduce score for adunanza client and don't ban there?
In this way we are not penalized in our download and adunanza as comunity mod endures a reduced score!
I reapet they are a comunity mod but this is the only way for ISP Fastweb client (with standar emule there have a low id and are banned to server for their interna ips!!!).

I'hope in a your answer, thank you Stulle for your job and for your understanding.

pps:i'am sorry my english are very very bad!!!!!

here we go again... :frust:

i am not the maintainer of the current dlp. zz_fly is doing all the work.

adunanza is - quite like bowlfish - creating a network within the network. that is potentially bad behaviour. i know, your demand is great and your isp is the biggest crap on earth but do not take that for an excuse, this is one big network and if emule cannot work with your isp make a new network that will work with your isp.

ps: if this is getting another bowlfish discussion i will split this again...

Small question: Why is netf WARP Beta 9 recognized as bad client by DLP 37 ?
Posted Image

You want a light mod with source-dropping, Powershare and WiZaRd's ClientAnalyzer ?
Try Spike2-Mod !

You rather want to stick to official eMule but don't want to miss all the new fixes and optimizations from the mods ?
Try OfFixed-Mod !

it is? well, how about this line:
		_tcsstr(modversion, _T("NetF WARP 9")) || //should be NetF WARP 0.3a.9

anyway, i did not check myself but it appeared legit to me. will try to find the sources now and check there.

edit: it appears the comment is not entirely correct but the ban is correct. here the code from 0.3a.9:
// BEGIN netfinity: Mod version
#ifdef MODNAME
#if (_DEBUG || _BETA)
	m_strModVersion.Format(_T("%s v%u.%u%c.%u"), MODNAME, MODVERSION_MJR, MODVERSION_MIN, _T('a') + MODVERSION_UPDATE, MODVERSION_BUILD);
	m_strCurModVersionLong.Format(_T("%u.%u%c.%u [%s]"), CemuleApp::m_nVersionMjr, CemuleApp::m_nVersionMin, _T('a') + CemuleApp::m_nVersionUpd, CemuleApp::m_nVersionBld, m_strModVersion);
#else
	m_strModVersion.Format(_T("%s v%u.%u%c"), MODNAME, MODVERSION_MJR, MODVERSION_MIN, _T('a') + MODVERSION_UPDATE);
	m_strCurModVersionLong.Format(_T("%u.%u%c [%s]"), CemuleApp::m_nVersionMjr, CemuleApp::m_nVersionMin, _T('a') + CemuleApp::m_nVersionUpd, m_strModVersion);
#endif

#ifdef _DEBUG
	m_strCurModVersionLong += _T(" DEBUG");
#endif
#ifdef _BETA
	m_strCurModVersionLong += _T(" BETA");
#endif
#endif
// END netfinity: Mod version

as you can see it will - for a9 - always start with "NetF WARP v0.3a" and depending on the used build settings it might be appended by ".9 DEBUG" or ".9 BETA". "NetF WARP 9", however, will never appear in an unmodified NetF WARP.

Ah, I see. I thought this was aimed against the original netf Warp. Thanx !
