This is just SlotFocus + Powershare + some other small stuff that's always been in ZZUL but isn't in official.

You may want to check the replies to this post to see if this version is stable before you decide to use it. If you've tried it, please report how it works for you.

New in this version:

Changelog said:

  • First version based on 0.49a

Thanks zz. Got it on Powershare, as always.
It said: "Insert disk #3 into drive...", but only 2 will fit...?!?

No, there will not be a new version of my mods. No, I do not want your PM. No, I am certain, use the board and quit sending PMs. No, I am not kidding, there will not be a new version of my mods just because of YOU asking for it!

Not sure what you refer to, myth88. The percentage number things from Morph?

I doubt I'll add more features like that, unless I need them for debugging. I'd rather work on the upload and download threading if I feel inspiration to work on eMule.

All, thanks for the comments.

That info is already in the transfer panel. Activate the columns you need.
The problem is not the client, it's the user

What he means is a feature that creates just the text block quoted above and copies it to the clipboard. It's basically a tool to create a filerelated stat.

Hi, for a couple of days now I've been testing Zzul and I notice something wierd. Maybe it's a mod feat (I just switched from a bloated mod to the official emule and now Zzul) but whenever I start Zzul, uploads seem fine, always at high rates. After some time, usually no more than 30 minutes, it just drops to 1kb and remais as so until I restart Zzul.
I do my releases now and then but I'm more of an helper. I keep emule running 24/7, usually helping to spread big or rare files. I've found zzul to be a great uploading mod but then theres this issue...

Again, maybe it's a mod's feat or something else I'm not coping with. Can someone shed some light on this?

seilaeu: Is USS/Upload Speed Sense on? Have you tried turning that off, and seen if it improves the behaviour? It shouldn't lower upload speeds like that without reason.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I haven't actually turned off anything since I could' find any option like that in the Extended menu.
Anyway, I found an awkard thing about this... it only happens when I don't limit the upload. I mean, if I start zzul with unlimited upload bandwidth it uploads at maximum for some time, as described before, then drops to 1kb. As soon as I check the limit upload box it boosts back (usually takes a couple of seconds to start increasing upload speed).
One more thing, I've noticed the speeds read by zzul are not quite exacly the same as read by another programs (i've used netlimiter to get the actual up/down speed transfers, while actually not limiting anything through it). Often Zzul adds 20+ kb, compared to what netlimiter reads. But in both cases upload speeds exceeds my ISP plafond so I'm pretty lost in here: I don't know if its a misreading by any of theses 2 programs, if it's my ISP giving me more upload bandwidth than I pay for or if is anything else

Whatever it is, I'm very satisfied wth Zzul now that it's working as it should!
