@leexgx
That is NOT a good solution.
That will cause a lot of fragmentation.

just have the temp files on an other disk or have the download folder on an dif disk

any way this is not an Tech support and what your asking is an bug in the way emule makes files make an new topic in Morph (maybe emule bug form but it more likey get fixed in main morph fourm)

----------------

New
can you add into emule that checks the Soft limit when its connecting to the servers so it ignores the ones with No soft limit or an Low soft limit, depending on how many shares you got if it cant connect to an server with an soft limit then Try and connect to one of them any way

allso add an extra check on the server once connected check anti fake index server check once you have uploaded your list to the server do an randome check one 4 files to check if you get an source back (basicly ask the server for sources like you do when you are downloading files as an check)

The possibility to setup more than 1.5MB File buffer size and adjust the "delay time for flush the files" would be nice.

Hello,

I have installed and activated the template multiuser but the search are not independent among users with what to look username1 eliminates the search of another user.

Need a multiuser but having the independent search.

The downloads use the category and work well.

Thank you.

better spam filter
filter/automark as spam files ending with "updated-fixed XX-200X" / "Updated-Fixed Release XX-200X"

Hi to all ppl!

I look that MorphXT logs have a lot of space of disk. There are too big. Well, why not create an auto purging to eliminate old logs? Give some value in numbers, every number are days...

For example:

Purging old logs with ____ days

Purging old logs with 5 days -> Logs older than 5 days ago, will be eliminated

Then, we save some free disk space and don't take up all with logs.

i know that i overstep the line but i wanna say u sthg again.

*I am not a coder, so I am only suggesting ;
in some mods there is a lable.about telling us how many clients in our queue for a specific file.
my English could be poor(sorry for that), so look the picture, I wish you will understand.
that is what I want;
Posted Image

*my other suggestion about "chunk choosing method", do you think adding an option to select maella or zz methots.(morph is using zz isn't it ?)
*another question ;
is there a way to see percentage of clients, we uploading now?
we can see percantage clients who we download (options>morph>download management>display>show client percantage).

you wrote "One Request per post." but it would be flooding I think. I do not know the rules completely and started to use morph nowadays, so please understand me.

Sorry if i did sthg wrong.

it's okay and good you packed it all into one post.

about on queue and percent for uploading: both will be considered according to time and fancy of us modders. ;)

about chunk choosing: where do you see the advantage/ disadvantage of either of the system?

No, there will not be a new version of my mods. No, I do not want your PM. No, I am certain, use the board and quit sending PMs. No, I am not kidding, there will not be a new version of my mods just because of YOU asking for it!

first of all I want to thank you for replying all the messages quickly.

I think my suggestion is good, because somethimes I am looking my old releases in "shared files", so I used to see how many people want that file and how many full sources in network now. in some positions I am opening powershare and sometimes I close powershare.

I think that is good to see how many clients in your queue.

for chunk choosing methot;
I am not a coder or programmer, I read some basic explanations about difference between maella and zz. maella sounds more logical to me.

my ed2k network knowledge is too low, so that was only a suggestion.forget about chunk choosing methot, as you said it is not too much important.

thnx again :flowers:

hello Morph devs, and THANKS for a great mod of a great app. I used emule .47a for almost two years...but I switched to Morph because you pay attention to optimizing Upload to help complete 99% files...and upload tiny files with priority.

Feature Request: I am requesting USER-control over font-sizes used in the program.

I'm having a serious problem using emule now, on my 'new' PC. It is a used T60p laptop with UXGA 15" lcd. I really REALLY hope the Morph devs will be able to help here; because I'm starting to get headaches every time I use eMule/Morph.

I am probably not alone in this. The UXGA resolution is becoming very common now on laptops. Many apps don't adjust dialog-box size and text-size properly....and don't provide any user-control over font-sizes and such so that the user can fix it.

I've set DPI correctly in windows 2000; and I have worked with the properties/appearance tab extensively....to adjust what can be adjusted. But not all text 'items' used in the various windows and dialog-boxes are listed on the Appearance tab for adjustment

Running Morph/emule on UXGA, the text is way too small, and too light a 'stroke' (like only a single pixel thick...very hard to read).

This is true in every area of the morph/emule window, except the title-bar and the toolbar button-text (other non-toolbar buttons are also too-small text).

However, it's the 'main' panes of the program that are critical...since those are the ones that a user needs to read 'in detail'. This is especially true for the "search results" pane in the Search view, and the 'downloads' pane of the Transfer view....because there are so many lines/items jammed together..and you use them a lot. Eyestrain and headache...big-time.
.
So I request please add USER control over these font-sizes in a setup-screen or by editing preferences.ini.

I thank you....my eyes thank you....my head thanks you....Bayer does not thank you... :lol:
Morph/emule XT v10.5 on Win2000, T60p Thinkpad 15" UXGA, PC experience: very high...but not a programmer. Network: slow rural Dialup, 28kb avg. T60/emule gets web over wifi from another laptop running its dialup-modem connection over XP/ICS/wifi.

Hi! How are you?

I just think a feature to add in Server window. An option in the right click menu, "Add this server to IPFilter". This option could add server IP in the ipfilter.dat file and reload it automatically to block the news IPs. With this option, we can block any server that we don't like very much.

Is this possible? Thanks :flowers:

Sounds good :P It is good to be shown when we select "show more controls".

From Xtreme overhead explanation ;

Quote

- the overhead includes TCP/IP + UDP-Header + blockpackage-header + ACK-packets + obfuscation-data
- the uploadlimit is applied to overhead + data

I want morphXT to show overhead like xtreme :) (real overhead)

something like a FairPlay+;
any file that has 1 complete source (you) gets a limited PS (1) with SOTN
then, obviously when it has >1 complete source (you've uploaded 1:1) it then deactivates for that file.

this would encourage files that become almost dead to be re-released effectively.

although i really dislike ps auto, if you want full automization take that. it will enable ps whenever there are very few clients asking for the file.

however, it is best if you decide upon powersharing a file or not because the human is capable of considering while the computer can only decide.

Great Mod, yet still one little detail is missing for me:

Under Shared Files I would love to see Shared Directories Sorted By Name.

All is fine if you have 5 shared DIRs, but it is far from manageable if somebody sharing xx or xxx or [even?] xxxx DIRs.

Shared DIRs Sorted By Name FTW! :thumbup:
