Ipfilter Problem

I am new in this forum and of course I write this message because I have a problem running my e-Mule 0.48a .
The problem is I can't connect to the servers at all and the reason is written in this message I got when I checked my ports :
" TCP connection failed because eMule rejected the connection .
It is possible that your IPFilter includes the IP of this server making a connectiontest impossible . "
I tried to enter different port numbers and other "IP subject " related actions but nothing helped .
Thanks a lot to every one who will reply to my message !!!

Have you set rules for eMule in your firewall allowing all outgoing traffic, and incoming traffic by the ports you set in Options/Connections?
Have you forwarded in your router these same ports to the ip of your computer?

Thank you again , I do have an AVAST antivirus but I don't think the problem is there (I checked it but there is no firewall inside nor any restriction on running softwares ) , I also remember my eMule worked just fine for a time with my Avast antivirus .

Did you get low or high id?
What server name and Ip are you connected to?
You can remove, clicking on edit button, last digits of your ip
Cheers

1. I don't know what rules should I set and where - should I go to :securitycenter/internet possibilities/security/ internet,intra-net,good sites,bad sites ???
2.There is no ID I think , and that's because my e-mule icon is always grey colored so I can't connect even though I clicked the connection buttons .
3.Some of the servers are : SuperDonkey-PEERATES.NET-212.227.65.67:4242
Marakuserver-nodesc-217.91.45.71:4242
www.UseNeXT.info-80.190.240.125:4661
""""'"''''"'''''''"'"".to-212.112.X.X:4661
4. I tried to click the "edit" button in "preferences" but what should I write inside ?
PLEASE answer to my questions 1 and 4 - thanks a lot !

3) Get a reliable server list by following these steps
- Go to Options/Server
- Set number of errors allowed before removing the server to 9
- Click List button that appears next to the option Auto update
- In Notepad, that is opened, add the following lines in the beginning:
http://www.gruk.org/server.met.gz
http://www.peerates.net/servers.php - Save changes in notepad
- Unmark the two following options Update list of servers
- Click on Accept
- Go to Options/Security
- In Update from URL, type:
http://emulepawcio.s...et/ipfilter.zip - Click on Load.
- Go to servers window
- Remove all servers from static list
- Remove all servers from list
- In Update Server.met from URL, write any of the URL in point 4
- Click on Update button
- If you have selected Autoconnect only to servers on static list add the servers you want to static list
- Double click on any server
4) I talked about edit button in your third post to remove last digits of your ip.
Cheers

I'm sorry but I did everything you asked in section 3 but I couldn't find any servers
Secondly , I couldn't understand this security/"edit" button thing - how can I remove anything - there is nothing there or there is "jibrish" -nonsense written things in there
Thirdly , I tried to make servers from the URL adresses because there was nowhere to take them from
fourthly , there is only one list of servers
and finally , I got those messages(I translated them from my language) from the diary of eMule:
The server HTTP failed in recieving regulation response
The version of URL server.met is ungood in the file
No good servers were found in the list that can be connected with
Fault during connection attempt - the internet connection may have failed (I checked - it didn't fail )
In conclusion :
I did and tried everything you asked but it just wouldn't work so thank you very much for all you did for me - I'll try to ask the others if you can't - so again Thank You .

(not point 16: what does it means?)
the program seems to work
but I only have 10 servers
is this ok?
or I wrong somewhere?

Using Peerates or Gruk list and ipfilter is normal having ten or even less servers.
I don't know why you can't see progress. I do when i are downloading something. Are you talking about % downloaded?
Cheers
