Sorry Trebla, I encounter a problem at this point. The Ipfilter.zip file begins to download but always times out and fails to complete downloading (I'm in Asia, quite far from Europe or America). The downloader used by Emule just stops and quits if the connection is lost and it allows no option to reconnect, only lets you start again from the beginning, and I know what that result will be after over 10 times trying. Failure.

What is the Plan B if you can not load the ipfilter.zip this way?

Can it be downloaded using an external downloader or browser and then just manually placed in the correct directory?

Thanks

You can download the file using your browser, unzip the file and copy the ipfilter.dat you obtain to config folder.

Cheers :D

Hi there,
I followed your instructions with no problems until clicking the update server.met. It will not download a new server list. Is there another way to acheive this?

Actually quick Quetion - IP filter still the most recommended list? I just saw many references to bluetack list - and wasn't sure which one is the best...

I come in english section to thank you because i thing you best understand english than french.
So my message is : 'beautiful presentation' and judicious advices from you THANKS

What is now a little mystery for me is this KAD window, especially 'amorcage' and 'à partir de clients connus' or the 2 fields with i thing we can fill in an adress and a port (?)

I thing, because i read and apply your tutorial, than you meaned that KAD network is important, maybe more than servers.

So, can you or sombody explain me if we can put an ip there, or if we must choose 'à partir de clients connus', ... it's a point that i do not understand, but it was also not the subject of your tuto.

Many thanks in advance :angelnot:
