hi there, ive been using the bytedevils servers for a while, with no problems up until now. i connected to a server called ifreesex.net and since doing this i have not been able to connect to any of the bytedevils servers.

3 questions.

1. has anyone else had problems with the bytedevils servers in the last 24hrs.
2. could connecting to this other server prevent me from connecting to bytedevils.
3. how can i fix this problem and reconnect to bytedevils.

bear in mind that i have already rebooted my computer, deleted all the servers and manually put in the bytedevils ip's and i am also able to connect to other servers such as usenext.net, the only ones i cant connect to are the bytedevils ones.

1) Yes, I have the same problem. Maybe it is due to a ByteDevils maintenance.
2) Yes , if is it exactly as the seerver in this list: http://www.gruk.org/list.php
3) Yes, simply wait the servers finnish the maintenance & to be sure you are connecting to reliable servers , click on my signature link: "Servers & IPFilter"

1) Although I'm not connected to Bytedevils, two Bytedevils servers gave errors just hours ago.

3) Wait. May be Bytedevils are out for some reason that only they know, but usually they are back after a while.

*But if you allow fake servers come into your eMule, you can get a fake Bytedevils. Are you using a proved server list?

Connect to another server and try again later.

Sorry, I do not understod correctly the question 2. The correct answer is : If this server figure in the list I have linked it is not probably it causes the Byte Devils problem, You can connect to another server , not marked in pink, from the gruk list.

Bytedevils appear to be offline at the moment. Quite likely just for maintainance. Use any other valid server, it is not important which you connect to.
