Hi

I only downloaded emule a few days ago and it was working fine.

Then my computer crashed in the middle of a download. I rebooted the computer, but now when I click on the emule icon the little egg timer flashes up for about a second but then disappears and nothing happens.

Cany anyone help me?

Thanks

Anyone?????

I´m getting really frustrated now.

I have just tried uninstalling emule and then installing it again. The first time I tried to use it, it opened okay. The second time I tried it has gone back to the previous problem. That is, I click the icon and the hourglass appears for a second and then nothing.

Help!!!

Try opening TaskManager (ctrl+alt+del) and see if emule.exe is listed as a process. If so, end process and try running again.

Hi

I´ve done that and no, emule is not listed as a process.

Is there anything else you can think of that I should ?

Hi everyone
Try fresh install.

Posted Image Make your own ipfilter file, and manage fake files. Take in count, You are the best filter for emule.

bluecow: Merged debug dump build into release build. To enable crash dump generation, specify "CreateCrashDump=1" in "eMule" section of preferences.ini file.
The next time it crashes, email the dump file to the devs for them to look at. HTH.
