Please use an image hosting site such as imageshack in the future. Noone wants to have to download and then view a file.

Bootvirus is unknown to me & so I would consider it fake.

Sharing Kingdom are in the lists and found to be operating correctly but their IP's are in filter lists so you should bear that in mind.

UseNext does not publish my shared files. Some confirm this behaviour, others are contradictory.

Peerates only publishes specific files.

TVU definitely ok.

how can i remove SK from the filter? bcoz i cant connect to them

@murphys,
Open ipfilter.dat with Notepad and delete ip ranges you want to unblock.

You're probably not using the "pawcio" v0129 filter. Certainly that range isn't filtered in v0128. Not sure about other filters.

If you don't have a range that includes those servers in your ipfilter, then it's not your ipfilter that's preventing you from connecting to them :)

for reference v0128 has these:
089.248.136.056-089.248.136.063,109,[L2]New Voice Media Ltd
089.250.061.064-089.250.061.079,090,[L1]Symmetria Software O

Are we nearly there yet?

You should always use most up-to-date, for obvious reasons.

dumb question: how do i update it? (im using 49a)
and i guess after upgrading i will need to remove that range we talked about
which puts in doubt the statement: "You should always use most up-to-date" :-)

Go to options - Security. Tick filter servers too. press Apply.
paste http://emulepawcio.s...et/ipfilter.zip into the update from URL box.
Press Load.

After it's loaded you can use the edit button (it should open with notepad) and delete or edit the range that those servers are in. Save the file and then press reload, not load.

Ok, try one of the links from this topic. Just download from one and paste the .dat file (extracted from a zip or rar if necessary) over your v0128 then press reload.

There is no doubt about keeping filter up-to-date in the current climate. There is doubt about whether you want to use a server whose IP is in the filter.

IP ranges not only are added to the filter, but also could be removed. Therefore it is better to delete all previous entries and add new. Or simply use Options > Security > Load button. Or Reload, if doing it manually.

this is not the "safe-list" of peerates.net. The person saying this have done a mistake. The "safer-list' of peerates has 2 server (1 is peerates's server) .
The secure list have 6 servers (at this time). A list with Bigbang server is a bad list. there fake-list, sever-list, referenced-list, fully functionnal-list, etc ..
Furthermore peerates don't make analys each hour. It could be 1 h as 30 days. The date of verification is written in global list (secure, fake, spammer etc ...) and when we search information on a particular server. Don't watch the date of test is another mistake.

Just some link if you want make your own idea:

- Spammer list :http://edk.peerates....p...ak=1&sort=5
- secure-list : http://edk.peerates....p...ak=1&sort=5
Peerates-net provide a lot of interessing informations if we search correctly and not throw a link without verification ...
