Good start, but many of your current and future questions are already answered many times. Better than giving fish to people again and again is - teaching them fishing.

The key is - upload as fast as you can, and as long as you can.
Optimal 24h/7day with at least 80% of your bandwidth.
More people get from you, shorter your waiting in their queues and higher *effective* download speed. That speed has little to do
with your DL capacity.
Well intended bad ideas should be rejected in a kind way.
Discussing your ideas means they are, or at least could be good, so it is positive event. :)

btw, zzul should helps a little too, to reduce latence tiime (due to speed and excessive different access place at the same time)
;)

The extreme limit of wisdom, that is what the public calls madness.

Reduce (per! ) file buffer and queue size, refrain from using KAD.
Reduce your number of downloads and found sources.
Don't share thousands of files.

Hi now i stopped cad and 7 downloads and 550 sources and share 81 files.
after launching emule 5:12 hours passed, emule memory usage indicates 34730k. it's fair.
perhaps i tried to too many downloads.

You know what my reply to that is? Use programs with better memory management! Just because you're running crappy code doesn't justify the use of a pagefile. Cure the disease, don't just treat the symptoms.

“Before you do that ensure that you atleast have 1GB of RAM as your PC could crash if you run out of memory.”

It sounds reasible, but hom many people are using 1GB of RAM at least?
I believe it meaningless .
