shouldn't we ban o lower credits to all mods that don't agree GPL not releasing the source?

that is what Xtreme does.
All Leechers are GPL breakers (execpt dazzle)


But there are also a few israeli mods which are GPL breakers but don't have (too) bad features. If you ban them all, you would ban all israelis. The same applies for some other countries.

@Xman: as an Israeli I can tell you that you should ban these mods. The second you and Morph ban all GPL breaking Israeli mods the source code will be released by these rogue modders. I also think that the official client should ban them.

And BTW, a lot of Israelis use legit mods such as morph, xtreme and the official client.

First version of Flashget with ed2k support just CANNOT upload. And none settings about it.

There was new version. I'll try to look what changed about ed2k.

Flashget is leecher for sure, it's a download tool, and it's eMule module is also a download function, they don't develop it as a p2p share software, it still connect to multi servers in the latest version, and it doesnt obey GPL.

IIRC you may not ban a client even if it allows 0 upload if it's a different client software...
Don't ask me why but one of the devs once stated that... (same goes e.g. for communities like HORDE in other clients)
If it was allowed, I highly suggest to also ban the Trustyfiles thingy...

2. I still don't have any confirmation. So download flashget. Install it. Try out if you can download stuff without uploading anything (remark: you must have something to upload). Finally tell me how this flashgetversion identifies to other emule clients.
