I activate UPnP of my router but the list shows that only the ports in the Connection setting of eMule have been open however servers don't always use the same port which means I still have to modify the setting manually everytime i connect a sever which uses a different port.

Why can't emule detect the port of a particular sever and tell the UPnP to open it as soon as I start to connect the new sever?

additional bug ;)

in the Connection setting, i set TCP port as 7594.
But this sever uses another one which is 4184.
So when i try to connect the sever the log reports me an error but it says it's the port 7594 instead of 4184 that's unreachable. It may be very annoying for some users who don't realize the problem.

I've read the issue about Ports.
My point is that the emule can only open the port in its setting, but a lot of severs use a different one, and emule can't help me to open those ports.

Not that point. This 'port' is not that 'port'.

Have you enabled UPnP in router's config page? Can you see ports opened in that page?

Once again. You only have to forward the incoming ports, those in emule Options. You don't need forward outgoing ports.

Cheers :D

In eMule go to Options -> Server and check "Use smart LowID check on connect" and "Safe Connect".

False LowID detections can also be triggered by the router's IDS (Intrusion Detection System). Check if your router has it and disable it.

Right! "Safe Connect", just after I enable it, the problem gets solved.
Thanks a lot.
