Usually this will be because you are firewalled.

Make sure you are using good server URL: http://corpo.free.fr/server.met

Which Firewall have you installed ?
Can you create an "allow all" rule for eMule ?

ive got the recommended kerio and theres another virus scan thing constantly checking files but it has been working fine for the last couple of months ill try the allow all option but ive disabled both and same negative result

although the virus scan states the last file scanned is in my emule folder but it does not say anythings infected eg-infected 0 , moved 0 etc.

is their any way i can delete and then reinstall emule without losing my current downloads eg copy the temp file or whatever one it is? cheers

the last thing scanned was c/programfiles/emule/config/statistics.ini , these look like a list of servers or something what do ya think guys

window comes up when i open kerio saying web filtering allowed on payed edition only you are using free adition i wonder is this blocking it!

Do some reading and you'll find your answer.

Next time don't use the "NewTopic" button but put your questions in a single topic.

Post info in step 5 : http://forum.emule-p...showtopic=48111

To answer one of your questions : Yes , you can re-install eMule without losing credits % downloads :
- open eMule Config folder , move the files cryptkey.dat , preferences.dat & clients.met to a new folder (on the desktop) . Open Temp folder and move all .part files (incomplete downloads ) to the same new folder .
- uninstall eMule , delete program folder & reboot .
- re-install eMule , overwrite the files cryptkey.dat , preferences.dat & clients.met in Config folder using your old ones . Import Downloads using Tools --> Import Downloads --> Add --> choose the path .

I also read, in a different place I think, that they have aliases too.
