Being Spammed? Some User spam with Emule FX

IP: 85.250.54.246

This person is spamming with this mssg:

EMULE FX is the best!

Its been since like 2 months i finally found out the ip of the one who is bugging me constantly

We are a couple new to emule, normaly we use bittorent programs because it can reach over 200 kb a sec.

Anyway ..is therre ANY way i can block this persons ip?

No not really, with dynamic ip's and all.

You can change the msg settings from options though. Either set it to accept from friends only or go to security settings - msg filters and add that fx to there.

Goto options - security and put zambor|robot|emule fx|di-emule in the "filter messages containing" box. You can't block the IP with emule. Are you using the latest version, because according to the changelog - quote
"Jan, 14. 2006 -
-----------------------
.: Clients which were identified as spammers will now be banned instead of only ignoring their messages"
and
"Jan, 23. 2006 -
-----------------------
.: Clients which send filtered messages will now also be identified as spammers"
