Does anyone know if ed2k://|server|88.191.81.111|1111|/ (peerates.net) is functioning correctly? Other than for the 2 quite popular files I was downloading overnight, I've just realised I have only 2 other files that have been requested since 7pm last night, and currently have 4 users in my queue for them. (I was connected to 2 other servers for a few seconds before connecting to that server) Also some server search results are poor and show [peerates.net] in the tag title.

A server search for something like britney gives no results at all. Not even weird looking porn titles lol. A search for emule gives peerates tagged results and contentdb tagged results. Is this server filtering or something? and not passing on sources? My downloads have finished so I can't see how my sources were acquired - but I'm guessing they were almost exclusively SX.

Not good - my shares are "rare" - doesn't help them or the peeps trying to download them if they're not published to the network while I'm online

(it's not a server I normally connect to - I connected to it to compare something after starting emule and getting a search result from saugstube and edonkeyserver2 and forgot to disconnect.)

Somewhere around I saw message from peerates about their server.
It was said that the server would share only free and obviously legal stuff.
Not sure how this could be achieved, and so I am not surprised that your shares were omitted.

for that then. No mention of it under the server info tab. I bet any other server behaving like that would be down as a "fake/dysfunctional" Just cos sommat's not in the mulee contentdb doesn't mean it's not free and legal.

and you put its ip in your ipfilter, to load some other bad ip from the gruk list ?

did you test all the ip in the gruk list ? did you test our server before talking about it ?
did you have any idea to understand why gruk give some 'bad' ip, and not our ip, in its metlist ?
gruk is very mysterious about that and i think he is not clear about that subject.

it's seem the peerates servers list is the more clean and sure metlist you can find.
and a lot of the other list are peerates based.

but this is no longer in the filter. Is this why the "UltraUploader 3.0" (IP=208.43.68.146) etc servers have started appearing when using the gruk server list?
I've edited my filter to add those and the "www UltraUploader 3.0 com" (IP=207.182.140.66) etc servers.

Or are those ranges and those servers considered good now?
