Try md4sum of the extracted files to see if they match, the files should be identical.
Also might be that you got the old file from a non-up2date mirror, but that is very unlikely because i always wait 5 hours for it to spread after that the .txt is updated(more then enough)

ipfilter.zip are not the same as the ipfilter.v0xxx.zip

ipfilter.zip = guarding.p2p = auto-update for old (all !) Mods and official version of eMule (the newer version support the ipfilter.dat and guarding.p2p inside the ZIP file).
ipfilter.v0xxx.zip = ipfilter.dat = auto-update via ED2K for Mod like Ionix witch have the auto-update available by ED2K Network.

EDIT: read :-k .

Do anyone know what happen to http://www.bluetack.co.uk/index.php.

This site seem to be gone.

There is a file saying Guarding.p2p after unzipping ipfilter.zip. But the guarding.p2p file is not compatible nor loadable into peer Guardian 2.

I try to use blocklist manager to convert it but it says error on the listing.

When I go to Bluetack my browse say this page can't be displayed.

I think they must have block out all SBC & AT&T isp or their users.

I always use Blocklist manager to process the update, but now it's no longer working. Since I can't get to their site to tell them to unblock the range of 75......., are there any way that we can by-pass the blockage?

I think you're being overly paranoid. I accessed it from my SBC account just now and it's fine.

I am using PeerGuardian 2 & download one of the guarding.p2p list _ _http://www2.openmedia.info:8080/downloads/guarding.p2p.zip.

In this list I don't see there is a range 192.168.1.1 that block the IANA, Multicast - Bogon.

But on the monitor screen it indicates 192.168.1.1:1900 is blocking all the traffic to the router. So I right click the line in monitor window & choose "Allow 192.168.1.1 Permanently". Peer Guardian2 creates an allow list for 192.168.1.1 in the list manger but 192.168.1.1:1900 is still block all the traffic.

What are some way to allow or unblock 192.168.1.1:1900 in Peer Guardian 2. can anyone solve this problem any advice is helpful.

Thanx inadvance.

Yes pacobell. Iam using sbc but I have the pro package which start isp range from 75.___.___... I previous able to access bluetack & use blocklist manager to update the list from their site. Back then my ip start with 92.___ .___..... but now it is 75......., I think this is the only thing that prevent me from connect to bluetack.

Here is also some blockage from emule.

Superlex

do not use NONlan list nor the IANA lists...
or setup an exclusion list (i would suggest you to use bluetack blocklist manager to build yourselft the list you want to use in protowall or peerguardian)

about your ip and bluetack websites, i think that server firewall is blocking all iana ranges and hasn't been updated since 75.x.x.x has been assigned...

btw these are the ranges that are in bluetack blocklists:

Bogon:75.16.0.0-75.126.255.255
Bogon:75.127.16.0-75.191.255.255
Bogon:75.200.0.0-75.255.255.255

bogon lists AFAI aren't mantained by bluetack staff... but comes from http://www.completewhois.com

if you range fall in one of the above mentioned ranges, then there are very high probabilities that also almost all the servers are blocking you...

you can report the problem to completewhois ;)

Isn't this question better suited for the folks @ Phoenix Labs?

P.S. Have you tried browsing Bluetack via a webproxy (i.e. Tor)?

I don't think Superlex's problem is so much with the list as it is with the PG2 program itself, which is why I referred him to their support forums.

that's because it's a "correct adressed range"...you can complain at bluestack forum for the fake server.

The ipfilter in this thread doesn't include a list of fake server ^_^
