Do You Want To Recover The List Of Servers? Real and Fake servers list

Hi.
I did as ElChele advised and completely updated my server list to only include the active servers that he listed. I also added them all to my static list and checked the boxes 4 thru 8, in the options/server section.
After i had completed this, i noticed straight away that i could no longer connect to the internet at all apart from e-mule. But as soon as i end the e-mule programme i am able to connect? I have tried this a few times now just to make sure that it was the e-mule programme running with the new server, (and port) list that was causing the problem.
I have always been able to surf normally whilst using the programme up untill i added the new server list to e-mule. Does anyone have any clue as to why this would be happening?
I'm using Win XP Pro with FireFox v1.5 if that helps?

I have never had this problem until i updated the server file list. (manually) I did read your instructions, and follwed then to the letter. It's just very confusing as to why this suddenly happened?
I have also run a virus/addware and spyware checks to see if this was the problem, but it was not.
Thank you for getting back though.
I also have tested my ports Via options/connections/test ports and passed.
I have also just done a system restore, (a last resort) but this also yielded no solution.

For your connection type, a good Found Sources value it's 3500/4000. Currently you've:
137 * 500 = 68.500 found sources. Perhaps your router it's unable to handle then.
Too much Dl files, try 8/10 and if all is OK, you could increase this value little by little, till get the up value.

When i said 137 downloads, about 132 of them were in a qeue, but that shouldn't affect it?
Edit: Have changed my downloads to only 65 files, and it seems to be connecting alot better. Fingers crossed.
Thanks again mate.

Else you can try activating USS. (Upload Capacity = 0).
Remember one paused file still search for sources. You should stopped them.

The behaviour you describe is due to poor bandwidth management/too many connections.
You need to set an UL Limit. This is essential and will be approx 75% upload bandwidth - ie. approx 24kB/s. You should see a straight line on the graph when correct.
Reduce Max Connections to 200
Reduce Max New Connections/5 sec to 10
You may need to reduce your DL's further and disconnect Kad (if connected) if problem persists.

I would like to know some elementary things.Excuse me for my poor English..
1)Why when i'm adding a new server example Donkey server didnt appear any number on PING,USERS category?
2)What does it mean FAKE SERVER???
If im connect to a fake server what is the problem that can you cause?
3)If i have 14 server on my server list and i'm searhing for a file with the option GLOBAL SERVER in method of searching..the searching engine will be search into these 14 servers?

If you do not get any server information, even with known good servers, then this indicates a problem with serverUDP port. By default this is a random port (defined in preferences.ini as 65535.) Sometimes it is necessary to specify a port here and open/forward as with the normal TCP/UDP ports.
Note that the list provided by corpo (gruk) does not specifically give 'non-fake' servers, but simply a list of servers that are correctly configured. Not all incorrectly configured servers are fake and vice-versa.

An example:
You do a search for emule.exe and you get .*jpg results only.
You don't forward/open ports, and you get hight ID, when a real server give'u low ID.
Anyway, you've the fake/real serverList.

Before I erased fake servers, my downloads would reach 128kbps, up and down a bit, but usually around 90kbps.. but now, between the real servers only (didn't connect to fake servers before), they are down to 15-30 kbps, very rarely do I reach 50kbps
Is it so bad with everyone else?

Servers have nothing to do with transfer speed. You won't want to believe me and you will be sure that something is wrong, but experience & understanding of how Emule works will tell you otherwise.
With the exception of being very lucky (or running large numbers of DL's/connections), filling your bandwidth (128kB/s in your case) is a sure sign of a fake file.
On average, 15-30, peaking at 50 sounds like a good mule to me
